UPDATE ON YANGSAN DOG FARM RESCUE
Thank you so much for your continuous love and support for this rescue. As mentioned on our original posting, three girls got together to save 64 dogs from an illegally operated dog farm located in Yangsan, Korea. So much had happened after our last update back in May here on the site. It was nearly impossible for us to update on all of our social media and asked for you to follow for updates on Annie’s Instagram.
Below, please find the expense sheet along with receipts and invoices for your review. We did receive more donations after the ending date of 8/16/2019. We will provide more updates once it reaches a certain number for us to make another transfer to Annie’s account to take care of remaining bills.
Remaining balance on our sheet was taken care by separate fundraising held in Korea. Presently, there are total of 32 currently being fostered and placed in boarding facilities: 20 (fostered), 9 (pet boarding), and 3 (vet hospital). Out of 32 dogs, 28 dogs will need to find a home in Korea due to their size, medical condition and/ or being too young.

Annie, Ivy and I would like to thank each and everyone one of you who trusted us and believed in us. Once again, I apologize for delay in posting the expense sheet. We definitely wanted to make a difference in transparency and ethical fundraising for dogs in need of our help. Furthermore, we wanted to show the world how the rescue process work in Korea. Rescuing dogs from dog meat trade takes a lot of time, money, and energy. All the volunteers participated in the actual rescue work full time. However, they managed to make time to help save these precious lives.
After the rescuing of 64 dogs from Yangsan, Annie and her team in Korea rescued 80 more behind the scenes. They just couldn’t help but to rescue as one of the slaughter house employee decided to burn a live dog with a torch in front of our volunteers.
