OUR MISSION

Our foundation provides a lifeline for rescued dogs, helping them find loving homes in the U.S., particularly in California. Over the past nine years, we have successfully placed more than 600 rescued dogs into permanent homes. We are a dedicated small team, devoting most of our time outside of primary occupations to save these precious lives.

Our mission is to discourage the purchase of dogs from breeders and pet stores, while raising awareness about the countless dogs in need of homes—rescued from illegal breeders, abusive puppy mills, and high-kill shelters in Korea. Additionally, we aim to spread the word about shelter dogs in Southern California, advocating for their adoption and connecting them with loving families. Through education and community outreach, we hope to inspire more people to choose adoption and give these deserving dogs a second chance at life.

OUR GOAL

At Joey & Bailey Foundation, our primary goals are to rescue and facilitate the adoption of dogs from dire situations, including the dog meat trade, illegal puppy mills, and high-kill shelters in Korea. We strive to place these rescued dogs into loving homes in California and beyond. We emphasize the importance of adopting from local shelters and serve as a last resort for those unable to find a suitable dog locally.

We continue to increase our efforts to rescue and support dogs in Korea and fundraising to assist other local rescue organizations and/or donating supplies to shelters.

Transparency is a core value for us; we ensure complete transparency in all our operations by posting all financial transactions on our Updates page. We aim to raise awareness about the plight of dogs in need and educate the public on the importance of adoption over purchasing from breeders or pet stores.

To support our mission, we seek stable funding through fundraising campaigns and grants. Thank you for supporting us in achieving these goals and making a positive and direct impact on the lives of dogs in need.
