• AMY SUH

    BOARD MEMBER

Amy has always had a deep love for animals, a passion that began in childhood. She has fostered dogs, providing them with safe, loving homes after they were abandoned or found in shelters, and has been an advocate for adoption.

She has also worked to help local stray cats get fixed and to find their forever homes, collaborating with volunteers or veterinarians to ensure every animal has the chance for a better life. Amy has also participated in multiple fundraising efforts to help strays get medical attention or to help rescue organizations get the funds they need to save rescues from euthanasia or a life in a cage.

Amy currently works as a television executive and lives in Los Angeles. She is also the proud mother of her two rescue dogs, Toby and Winnie.

She finds immense joy in seeing the dogs she fosters being adopted by wonderful families and witnessing their transformations afterward.

She is thrilled to join the board of Joey & Bailey Foundation and looks forward to helping place many abandoned and rescued dogs into loving homes.

  • ILENE KIM

    BOARD MEMBER

Ilene’s journey into the world of animal welfare began with a deep love for dogs, particularly those often overlooked due to their age. As a devoted dog mom to three and an auntie to many more, her first dog, Evee, inspired her to embark on this path. She has dedicated her time to fostering dogs, including those from local shelters, and serving as a flight volunteer to bring rescued dogs from Korea. Witnessing the joy of a dog finding a forever home ignited a passion that continues to guide her.

By profession, Ilene works as a film producer and uses her platform to advocate for dog adoption and rescue, often encouraging film crews to adopt dogs—despite their occasional weariness of her enthusiasm. Each story of a dog finding a loving home strengthens her commitment to the belief that every dog, regardless of age, size, or breed, deserves a chance at love and safety, just like Evee had.

Through education, advocacy, and hands-on volunteer work, she strives to build a compassionate community that values and protects its most vulnerable members.
