WELCOME TO JOEY & BAILEY FOUNDATION

For the past ten years, we’ve helped over 700 rescued dogs find homes in the U.S., mainly in California. As mentioned, we’re a small team of 5 individuals devoting our personal time outside of our primary occupations to save previous lives.

Our team first formed after some of us met as staff volunteers for one of the largest rescue organization in Korea, where we were in charge of all rescue adoptions and we were one of the first rescue organization to start the overseas adoption program. Through our experience there, we got to see many wonderful dogs saved and discover a life full of love.

After two years of volunteering, we grew disillusioned by the organization’s leadership as the efforts became more centered on branding rather than rescuing.

Four years later, the original staff volunteers reunited and Joey & Bailey was born. With all of our experiences combined, we’re stronger than ever. While some organizations can be driven by greed rather than the need to save helpless dogs, Joey & Bailey will always put every dollar and effort into saving dogs coming from desperate and dire situations, such as the dog meat trade, illegal puppy mills and high kill shelters.

While we work to save dogs from Korea, there are also dogs available at your local shelter needing care and love. Only if you cannot find a dog of your choice at your local shelter, we ask that you adopt from us rather than purchasing from a breeder or pet store. Let’s all be part of the solution and not the problem.
